How cute are these giraffes? I love the cute saying - it's perfect for a "hey we need to catch up" type of card!
I think what I love most about this card are the new colors - Cherry Cobbler is such a rich red color and Daffodil Delight is just so pretty! Together, they are perfect!
For the "long time, no see" saying, I omitted the giraffe so that I could punch around it without punching his feet.
The cute giraffe stamp is from the It's the Thought hostess stamp set in the Summer Mini Catalog.
I FINALLY found the time and my stampin' mojo! YAY! (A clean working area makes a difference too!)
I fell in love with the Because I Care hostess stamp set as soon as I saw it in the new catalog. Isn't the hydrangea gorgeous? This time of year, my hydrangeas in the back yard are in full bloom and so pretty!
Unfortunately, the picture doesn't show the coloring very well. I tried to create some bright blue/purple flowers, but I'm thinking that it looks more grey...oh well.
If you look closely, I also stamped the flower/dot pattern down the side of the Elegant Eggplant card stock. I LOVE that the clear mount stamps make it so easy to position my stamps! Have you tried them yet? Honestly, because the stamps are the same high quality rubber that the wood mount stamps are, I don't think that I'll go back to wood! (Crazy, I never thought I'd be convinced to use them!)

I made this card about a week ago, and finally got around to posting it. Normally, it wouldn't be a big deal, but as of yesterday, the card stock I used is no longer available! Oh well...you can always substitute, right?
The stamp set I used is Elements of Style, one of the prettiest ones in the Summer Mini Catalog. This image reminds me of the Toile Blossoms stamp set we used to have. I think that's why I loved this one!
All I did was stamp, add color with my Watercolor Pencils, and then blend away with my Blender Pens. There's always something SOOO relaxing about coloring/blending. I could do it all day! (If I weren't interrupted a thousand times by kids!)

I know...I've been a little "absent" lately - but I do have things to share with you! In my newsletter this month, I mentioned that I'm changing the way I'm running my business a little. That doesn't mean I'm completely going away though! :) (I will repost that letter so you can see it if you missed it...)
Anyway, if you can believe it (I can't!) my daughter Megan turned THREE last week! She's been talking for 6 months about having a Pink Princess Party - so that's what we did.
This is her invitation. It turned out SO CUTE! I drew a simple castle pattern and cut out the pieces. There wasn't any stamping, but it was a little bit of work.
I printed the greeting in the front using the RGB Codes for Close to Cocoa. The party details were printed and attached to the back.
