| Step 1: Cut all the paper and chipboard you'll need for this project. Our Designer Series Paper is perfect for this project because it all matches! You can use double-sided paper, but you will only end up seeing one side. Chipboard Panels: (4) 2 1/4" x 5" and (1) 1" x 5" Outside Box Cover: (1) 6 1/2" x 12" cut from Designer Series Paper Inside Lining: (1) 4 7/8" x 10" cut from Designer Series Paper Inside Boxes: (4) 6" x 6" cut from Designer Series Paper Box Lid: (1) 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" Designer Series Paper |

Step 2: Create the Box. On the wrong (back) side of the 6 1/2" x 12" paper, line up your chipboard pieces. The four 2 1/4" x 5" pieces first and then the one 1" x 5" piece. Glue each piece with glue stick, being sure to cover the entire piece of chipboard. Use your brayer to make sure the entire piece is adhered. Note: Make sure that you leave a small space between each piece to leave room for folding. (The width of the chipboard itself will be fine.) |

Step 3: When the pieces are dry, fold your paper around each piece of chipboard. This is important because the paper will need to "mold" itself around the pieces. |
Step 4: Score around the outside edges of the chipboard pieces with a bone folder or stylus. |
Step 5: Trim the 4 corners of your Designer Paper around the chipboard. Be sure not to cut too closely as it will cause gaps when you fold the paper over and glue it. |

Step 6: Glue and fold each edge to the other side of the chip board. Because you scored around the edges, this will fold nice and straight. While it's drying, fold the chipboard pieces again to make sure that the paper folds nicely over each piece. |
Step 7: Apply the inside liner. You will glue one section at a time to make sure that the paper folds correctly with each piece. If you glued it all at once, your paper would buckle when you folded the box for the first time. |

You will want to play with each piece to make sure that it's folding properly. Note: It doesn't have to lay flat when opened. |
When the inside liner is glued to all panels, you'll have a nice box shell. Remember, it won't lay flat when it's completely opened, and that's OK. |

Step 8: Make 4 boxes for the inside of this box cover. These will be glued into place, staggered on each piece. Use the Easy Easy Gift Box Tutorial to make the boxes. |

Step 9: Attach Sticky Strip to one side of each of the 4 inside boxes. I used two strips, but you can use one if the goodies you are putting inside of the box aren't very heavy. |
Step 10: Attach your inside boxes. With the smallest flap (1" x 5") closest to you, attach the first box on the edge of the next side. This will be the bottom box. Important: As you attach your boxes, make sure you only attach ONE box per SIDE! Otherwise you won't get a staggered/stair-step effect. |
Attach the second box to the next side, creating a stair-step effect. |
Attach the 3rd box the same way, making sure to stagger it. |
Attach the 4th box to the last panel at the top of your box cover. |
Once all 4 boxes are attached, you will close your box with the smallest flap on the outside, the first flap being tucked into it. |
Step 11: Create a lid for the finished box. Use the 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" Designer Series Paper and the instructions for the Easy Easy Gift Box. Then, decorate any way you want to! |
