Melon Mambo is one of the new In Colors this year. Starting July 1st - just a few days away - you can order it for yourself! Don't you love it? (In fact, I saw a magazine article (in House Beautiful) where this exact color was on the walls! Way to go Stampin' Up! for being "hip" with the colors! :)
On to the stamp set - I used this beautiful new Hostess stamp set called Asian Artistry. I love these blooms - they remind me of cherry blossoms (or maybe crabapple) so I colored them pink. I used my Blender Pen and the ink from the lid of the Melon Mambo Stamp Pad to give it the light and dark colors of the flower. I also pulled the Always Artichoke from the tip of the marker with the Blender Pen for the same light/dark effect.
This card took me about 5 minutes to make - just how I like it! (That's usually all I have time for these days!)
