Tuesday Night Technique Club - Learn three new techniques each time with instructions so you can do it yourself at home. For this club, you purchase $25 in product each month and have the opportunity to be the hostess once every 6 months. First meeting is NEXT Tuesday, 7/14, at 7:00 pm.
Friday Night Technique Class - Learn the same three techniques, but no purchase is required. The class fee is $15. (Of course you can purchase any time - I won't turn it down!) First meeting is THIS Friday, 7/10 at 7:00pm.
All club members receive their own catalogs and other goodies too!

Just a quick note - I've updated the Designer Papers page to include the new Designer Series Papers and the colors they match from this catalog. I know that you can find it in the current catalog, BUT, if you don't happen to have it with you - or next year we have all new colors, you'll always have a reference here.
(These go back to Fall of 2007 right now. In the future, I may get other catalogs up - if there's something specific you'd like to see, let me know!)

A lot of you may already know that I have a side "gig" teaching at New England Institute of Technology. I really enjoy it - the classes keep the "computer geek" side of me happy.
BUT, I'm REALLY happiest when I'm crafting! Any kinds of crafts actually - but mostly paper crafts. That's why I consider myself SO LUCKY to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! Who knew when I graduated from College that this would be my passion?

What is more simple than this card? First, I have to say that I LOVE the colors - Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede are gorgeous together!
I also love the silhouette look of the stamped image since I used the same color as the card stock (from the Artfully Asian Hostess stamp set.) You could also stamp this in a darker color and then add more color around the flowers to make them a little more interesting.
I haven't completely decided if I like the dots that I added with the White Gel Pen, but it's too late now! :)
For the greeting, I only inked up the "happy birthday" phrase from the stamp in the On Your Birthday stamp set with Whisper White Craft Ink.
That's it - short and sweet!
The last few posts have been all business - so here's a little bit of fun with Crushed Curry - one of the newest In Colors! (OK, I threw a little bit of Soft Suede in there too...)
Have you ever dyed your ribbon? You wouldn't know it by looking at it (even looking closely!) but the ribbon I used on this card is the White Satin Ribbon from Stampin' Up! It's SOOOO easy to dye it to match whatever you are doing!
You could use reinkers, but I just held on to the ends and ran it over my ink pad until it was fully covered. Then let it dry.
Ribbon Dying Tip: Let ribbon dry COMPLETELY or you will end up with ink splotches on your card from the ribbon! Trust me! :)
